CCM Health Welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon, Rodney Brandt

CCM Health is excited to welcome Rodney Brandt, MD to their team of physicians!  Dr. Brandt attended Penn State University College of Medicine and is board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a member of Orthopaedic Overseas, an organization that helps teach orthopedics in third world countries. He has volunteered in Africa, Ecuador, Haiti and Bhutan. 

Dr. Brandt travelled to Africa during his college days with his father, a general surgeon, and assisted him in surgery in rural clinics.  This solidified Dr. Brandt’s passion to work in medicine as an orthopedic surgeon.  Dr. Brandt has a passion for organized sports and providing excellent care to student athletes and those “weekend athletes.”  “I love providing quality care to athletes, children, and adults,” shared Dr. Brandt.  “I love working with patients of all ages to help them lessen their pain and improve movement.”

Dr. Brandt has been married to his wife, Heidi, for 30 years and has 3 boys who are ages 17, 21, and 22.   He grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Beaver Falls, PA and is also a certified small engine mechanic. He enjoys hunting, fishing, pheasant hunting, and playing the guitar.
