Facility Rules
Our staff is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our members on the premises. The following rules are posted around the facility and must be followed at all times.
CCM Wellness Center Facility Rules
General Facility Rules
- Must be 12 years of age or older to use the fitness equipment, track, and courts in the wellness center.
- Please secure all personal items in lockers or cubbies. CCM Wellness Center is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Proper fitness attire and clean athletic shoes are required at all times when using the wellness center. A shirt that covers your entire torso must be worn at all times.
- No food or beverages (other than water and sport drinks) allowed.
- During peak hours, please limit your time on cardiovascular machines to 30 minutes.
- Wipe down and return all equipment to its proper place after use.
- Please do not adjust the volume or channels on the TV monitors.
- Be respectful of others and staff. Refrain from inappropriate language.
- CCM Wellness Center offers Personal Training for our members. Use of non-CCM Health Personal Trainers is prohibited within our facility.
- Allow others to use strength equipment during your rest periods.
- Please use headphones when listening to mobile devices or tablets. Personal speakers are not allowed.
- Follow all instructions regarding the proper use of equipment as posted. Use equipment only for the manufacturer’s intended purpose. Improper use of exercise equipment may result in injury.
- Please report any injuries to staff immediately.
- Report any damaged equipment to staff immediately. Do not attempt to repair or adjust any equipment that has malfunctioned.

Walking/Running Track Rules
- For your safety, please follow the daily directional guidelines and look both ways before entering the track area.
- Slower moving users shall stay on the inner side of the track, faster moving users stay to the outer side of the track.
- Only walkers and joggers are allowed on the track. No standing on the track. Should you need to stop to take a break or talk, please move to areas designated for sitting or stretching.
- Only two side-by-side users allowed on the track. Users may not be three abreast across the track.
- Track users must bring a separate pair of shoes to change into prior to using track area. No street shoes allowed.
- Wheeled mechanisms are not allowed on the track. Wheelchairs and walkers are permitted.
- No food or beverages (other than water with a spill-proof lid) allowed on the track.
Age Rules
- 16 years of age and older: 24/7 key fob access.
- 14-15 years of age: may visit during staffed hours, on their own, with parental consent. Must be accompanied by a parent during non-staffed hours.
- 12-13 years of age: must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
- Members and guests under 12 years of age are not allowed in fitness areas. This includes the walking track and sport courts.
Heavy Weight Area Rules
- Use proper lifting form. If you are not able to perform a complete set with excellent form, the weight is too heavy.
- Please use a spotter during appropriate lifts. Spotters should be as focused on the lift as the person performing the exercise.
- Return weights and stack neatly after use.
- Clear all plates from the Olympic bars when not in use.
- Shoes must be worn at all times (no sandals or open-toe shoes).
- Sanitize equipment after use.
- Do not drop weights and be mindful of noise.
- No food or beverages (other than water and sport drinks) allowed.
- Be considerate of others and share time on equipment when appropriate.
Kid Zone Rules
- Please use discretion for children under 5 years old. Some play components may require users to have enough strength and coordination.
- Children in the play area must be supervised by a parent or adult at all times. No staff will be on-duty in this area.
- Parents are responsible for monitoring the safety of their children. CCM Wellness Center is not responsible for accidents, injuries or lost items.
- Athletic shoes and socks are required to be worn at all times.
- No food, gum or beverages (other than water) allowed.
- Please do not bring strollers, toys or other items into the play area.
- Improper use of equipment is prohibited.
- Children should slide one at a time in a forwardseated position. Please do not climb on or up the slides.
- Running, rough play or excessive screaming is not allowed.
- Play with care and consideration of others and have fun!
Track Direction:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday the track moves COUNTER CLOCKWISE.
Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday the track moves CLOCKWISE.
