Keep Our Littles Ticking Foundation Donates CuddleCot to CCM Health

CCM Health is honored to have received a CuddleCot from the Keep Our Littles Ticking (K.O.L.T.) Foundation. K.O.L.T Foundation’s donation was made on Friday, April 4, 2025, to help families going through the heartbreaking loss of a baby.

A CuddleCot is a special cooling system that gives grieving families more time with their baby who has passed away. By slowing down natural changes after death, it allows parents and loved ones to hold, cuddle, and spend important moments with their baby—moments that help with healing and saying goodbye.

This donation is part of the K.O.L.T. Foundation’s mission to bring comfort to families facing miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. The organization was created by Mikaela Fenger in memory of her son, Kolt Charles Fenger, who was stillborn in 2023.

“Being able to donate a CuddleCot to CCM Health means so much to me,” said Mikaela Fenger, founder and CEO of the Keep Our Littles Ticking Foundation. “I know firsthand how important it is for families to have time to process and begin healing. Our hope is that this gift gives parents precious time with their babies that they’ll always remember.

Jenny Enevoldsen, Vice President of Nursing Services at CCM Health, shared how meaningful this donation is for the community. “This gift from the K.O.L.T. Foundation gives our care team another way to support families with love and compassion during one of the most difficult experiences a parent can face,” she said. “It will truly help bring peace and comfort to those grieving.”

The CuddleCot will be available to families at CCM Health who experience a loss during or shortly after birth. It represents a powerful act of care—extending time, presence, and tenderness during a time when every moment matters most.
