Jane Wrede, PhD, APRN, FACNM recognized as Fellow in the American College of Nurse-Midwives Board of Governors 2022

The Fellows of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (FACNM) Board of Governors shared the names of exemplary midwives who have been accepted for Fellowship in 2022.  Fellowship in the American College of Nurse-Midwives is an honor bestowed upon midwives who have demonstrated leadership within the ACNM, clinical excellence, outstanding scholarship and professional achievement who have merited special recognition both within and outside of the midwifery profession.  CCM Health is delighted to announce that Jane Wrede, PhD, APRN, FACNM has been honored on this year’s list!

Jane began her career as an RN in 1992 and earned her degree as a nurse-midwife in 2003. After graduation she began the nurse-midwifery practice at CCM Health in Montevideo, MN where she continues to work as a full-scope CNM. In 2012, Jane started a RN to BSN completion program at Southwest Minnesota State University and in 2014 was the founding director of the Bethel Nurse-Midwifery program successfully leading her skilled nurse-midwifery team through the ACME pre-accreditation, initial accreditation, and now re-accreditation processes. Jane has completed her PhD and is published on topics of nitrous oxide and family planning. 

CCM Health is proud to have Jane on their team of midwives.  She has helped the Labor and Delivery team develop and shape the midwifery services CCM Health is able to offer to their patients.
