Emily Temple-Wood, DO joins CCM Health’s Team of Physicians!

CCM Health is pleased to welcome Emily Temple-Wood, DO to their esteemed team of health care providers! Emily attended Loyola University in Chicago and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Temple-Wood is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. She specializes in Family Practice & Obstetrics and will begin seeing patients at CCM Health in Montevideo in October 2023. 

Dr. Temple-Wood discovered her calling when she took an Emergency Medical Technician course in college.  The experience ignited her desire to pursue a provider career in medicine. Dr. Temple-Wood is drawn to the full scope of medicine across a patient’s lifespan, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients.   

Dr. Temple-Wood is passionate about reproductive health and helping women understand their bodies. She is committed to providing essential care in this area addressing the unique needs and concerns of the patients she sees.  

Emily Temple-Wood, DO resides locally in the area with her husband, Matt, and their two cats.  They are high school sweethearts, and both grew up in the Chicaogoland area.  Together they have made this community their home.
