CCM Health Welcomes Tosan Fregene, MD to their Physician Team

CCM Health is honored to welcome Tosan Fregene, MD, to its team of physicians. Dr. Tosan Fregene completed his medical training and residency at Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center in Michigan, followed by fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. 

Dr. Fregene has extensive experience in comprehensive cancer care and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered treatment across oncology, hematology, and supportive care services. 

For Dr. Fregene, healthcare has always been about caring for people during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Providing guidance and support to patients and families is deeply meaningful to him. He is passionate about improving quality of life and making sure each patient feels heard, supported, and cared for throughout their journey. 

That same commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care is what drew him to CCM Health.

Dr. Fregene will provide specialty oncology and hematology services at CCM Health in Montevideo.
