Supporting Families Through Infant Feeding Services

As we wind down from National Breastfeeding Month, we want to take a moment to highlight our incredible Infant Feeding Services team at CCM Health and the essential support they provide to families in our community.

Our team of Certified Lactation Specialists is here to guide and support you through every stage of your breastfeeding journey. From your first prenatal visit to post-partum care, our specialists offer expert advice and compassionate encouragement to help you meet your infant feeding goals.

Patients are introduced to a lactation specialist at their first prenatal visit and again around 36 weeks, where they receive education, handouts, and demonstrations to prepare for feeding with confidence. After birth, our certified lactation specialists are available in the hospital to provide hands-on assistance and reassurance as you begin feeding your baby.

The support doesn’t stop when you go home. Following hospital discharge, our team offers clinic-based services to help you work through challenges and find solutions that fit your feeding goals, whether that means breastfeeding, pumping, or combination feeding.
