New 1.5T MAGNETOM Aera MRI Arrives at CCM Health

CCM Health received a new 1.5T MAGNETOM Aera MRI machine at its Montevideo location. The MAGNETOM AERA MRI machine allows for better MRI exams and overall experience for patients. The innovative technology provides fast, personalized scans tailored to your body type and specific needs. Jon Jerve Imaging manager states, “We want our patients to have the best experience possible. With our new machine, it will allow more comfort, faster, more efficient exams, and diagnostic confidence to provide high quality images so our providers are able to make accurate diagnosis.”

The MAGNETOM Aera MRI accommodates more types of patients with a wide bore design to help reduce the closed-in feeling of traditional MRIs and the short design allows for many exams to be performed with the patient’s head outside of the system. It can also reduce patient anxiety with faster exams to create a more comfortable experience for the patient. “Our new MRI machine will be an asset to have in the ER. Any time that is able to be shaved off from a procedure in an emergent situation is crucial”, stated Dr. Chase Osbon, Emergency Department Director. The MAGNETOM AERA MRI also provides the highest quality images MRI exams have available today. The MRI offers custom mood lighting to create a relaxed, comfortable ambiance to help patients relax as well as sky light features. Quiet neuro and ortho scans are also available with noise reduction technology.  

CCM Health offers MRIs 5 days a week in Montevideo, MN, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
