CCM Health COVID-19 Informational Update

CCM Health COVID-19 Update – April 6, 2023

Masking Policy:

  • CCM Health has removed the masking mandate for patients and staff that do not have respiratory symptoms at our care locations. This decision aligns with the CDC and MDH recommendation for healthcare organizations based on community transmission rates. In Chippewa County, we have achieved a low transmission rate and have maintained it for several weeks consistently.
  • Please note that although CCM Health feels comfortable at this time for our organization to remove the mask mandate, we will continue to follow CDC and MDH recommendations which may include reinstituting a masking mandate if transmission rates increase and are sustained at a “high” level in the future.

Visitor Policy:

  • We are removing all visitation restrictions at this time. We will continue to screen visitors (using the same process we do for patients) and Patient Access staff will provide masks based on their symptoms and/or known positive exposure to COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
  • Visitors will no longer be restricted from coming and going but we will still continue to only use the current entrances (main front, ED, and Rehab Services) at this time.
