Hospital Leader Recognized by Minnesota Hospital Association
CCM Health is proud to announce that Board Member David Lieser has been recognized by the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) for successfully completing MHA’s trustee certification program. David was honored during MHA’s 2025 Summer Trustee Conference in late July alongside other hospital and health system leaders from across Minnesota.
The trustee certification program provides comprehensive training on the evolving challenges of healthcare leadership, focusing on governance best practices, financial performance, quality and safety, and public policy. Trustees must complete 30 hours of coursework to earn certification, demonstrating their commitment to health care governance and improving patient outcomes.
“David’s certification highlights his dedication to the mission and future of CCM Health,” said Brian Lovdahl, CEO at CCM Health. “His leadership and insight help guide CCM Health’s strategy, especially as we continue to grow and serve the needs of our communities in Southwest Minnesota.”
David Lieser joined the CCM Health Board of Directors in 2018. In addition to his work with CCM Health, David brings decades of experience as a teacher and coach, having retired from Montevideo Public Schools. He is also on Chippewa County’s Board of Commissioners representing District 5 and serves on various local committees dedicated to the growth and development of the Montevideo area.
CCM Health congratulates David on this outstanding accomplishment and thanks him for his continued service and commitment to improving rural healthcare.
