2024 Wellness Challenge
What is the CCM Wellness Center Wellness Challenge?
The 2024 CCM Wellness Center Wellness Challenge is an 8-week wellness challenge that will help you develop sustainable habits to improve your health and sense of wellbeing.
The CCM Wellness Center Wellness Challenge looks at many of the pillars of wellness. For 8 weeks, players earn and post weekly points in different categories including physical, emotional, nutritional, and lifestyle.
The idea is to be mindful and make progress over the two months and develop healthier habits that will stay with you for the long term. The CCM Wellness Center Wellness Challenge is a fun and competitive program that provides great motivation and accountability to help challengers improve their lives.
Who can participate in the challenge?
This wellness challenge is open to residents that live in and near Montevideo, Minnesota. Teams can consist of co-workers, family members, and friends.
When does the challenge run?
The challenge goes from April 7 through June 1, 2024.
What is the cost?
The cost is only $10.00 per person.
What are the Challenge Details:
Participants will sign up in teams of four (4) individuals and choose a team name. Teams should select a team captain as well. Individuals earn points for themselves and for their team, based on a point system, plus 15 points for each 1% of weight loss.
Weigh-in dates and times:
Initial Weigh-Ins – April 3 & 4, 2024:
April 3rd (11:00am – 1:00pm) or April 4th (7:00-9:00am)
Final Weigh-Ins – May 29 & 30, 2024:
May 29th (11:00am – 1:00pm) or May 30th (7:00-9:00am)
All weigh-ins will take place at the CCM Wellness Center in Montevideo, MN.

Teams with less than four members will be paired with other individuals that register without a team. Initial weigh-in dates are April 3 & 4, 2024. Information regarding wellness challenge tracking will be sent after initial weigh-ins.
Week 1 – Steps Challenge: (4/7-4/13)
Strive to get at least 10,000 steps each day through the week.
Week 2 – Water Challenge: (4/14-4/20)
Drink at least 64 oz. of water each day.
Week 3 – Adopt a “Gratitude Attitude” Challenge: (4/21-4/27)
Take time to count your blessings and not your burdens through the week.
Week 4 – Resistance Training Challenge: (4/28-5/4)
This week work to strengthen your muscles and improve many parts of your life.
Week 5 – Healthy Meal Challenge: (5/5-5/11)
Plan out at least one healthy, well-balanced, meal for each day this week.
Week 6 – Random Acts of Kindness Challenge: (5/12-5/18)
Challenge yourself to do one random act of kindness each day.
Week 7 – Digital Detox Challenge: (5/19-5/25)
Reduce screen time and digital distractions this week.
Week 8 – Cardio Challenge: (5/26-6/1)
Spend 30 minutes doing cardio exercise daily.
Additional Challenges: Volunteer in your community, Food Shelf Donation, and a 3K Walk/Run.

Weekly Challenges
Cash prizes for the CCM Wellness Center Wellness Challenge will be determined by the total number of registered participants. Prizes will be awarded in these categories:
TEAM PRIZES (1st – 3rd Place)
INDIVIDUAL PRIZES (1st – 10th Place)
Prizes will be awarded by June 15, 2024 after all scores have been recorded and reviewed.
What are the prizes?
Points are earned by completing weekly challenges and weigh-ins. To qualify for weight loss points, initial and final weigh-ins must be collected at CCM Wellness Center.
